Vulture’s Pick Stopped Stock Trading Signal Services from Today

In summary – it can be concluded that our program reduces return volatility. And it is also expected that over many year evaluation period -the returns from current version of the program will be much better than buy/hold.

However, having analyzed returns for last 11 months of trading – we have decided to stop the program for assessment and further development. So all open trades are exited.

Trading Signal Equity Gain/Loss : 27.1% with maximum drawdown of 6.9%
Buy Hold Gain/Loss : 30.1% with maximum drawdown of 14.2%

The performance is good on drawdown/risk control side but overall return are apprx 3 % lower than buy/hold.

The performance is good on drawdown/risk control side but overall return are apprx 4.7 % lower than buy/hold.

After analyzing trades for last 4 months – it is observed that Index/future based trading of Vulture’s Pick signal is consistently profitable. However, options trading incurred losses due to time decay, adverse volatility movements, and bid/ask spread. Therefore, till we have more history – we have stopped trading and recommending options trading.
